Role
The selected candidate will coordinate due diligence processes and investor information requests (RFPs), and support the management of legal documentation related to the structuring of alternative funds.
They will also participate in project coordination and key administrative tasks. The role involves direct interaction with institutional investors and collaboration with internal teams (compliance, risk, operations, legal, and investment), making effective communication and cross-functional coordination essential.
Main Responsibilities
Investor Due Diligence & RFPs
Manage and complete due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and requests for information (RFIs/RFPs).
Coordinate information gathering with internal teams (compliance, risk, operations, legal, and investment).
Maintain updated standard responses and supporting documentation databases.
Legal / Paralegal Support
Assist in reviewing legal documentation for fund structures, NDAs, subscription agreements, side letters, and other contracts.
Provide support in coordinating regulatory matters, including analyses related to investment vehicles and/or investors across different jurisdictions.
Project Management | Project Coordination
Coordinate interactions with external providers (AIFMs, administrators, depositaries, auditors).
Oversee deadlines and key deliverables in the implementation of new investment vehicles and other projects.
Prepare checklists and progress reports.
Conduct weekly project follow-ups.
Administrative & Support Tasks
Organize legal documentation for investment vehicles and investors.
Prepare presentations and materials for internal committees and investor meetings.
Provide support in recurring reporting to investors and internal departments.
Requirements
Degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–4 years of prior experience in a law firm, asset manager, fund administrator, or Big4 (audit/consulting in asset management).
Fluent English (minimum C1), written and spoken; additional languages will be valued positively.
Knowledge of regulatory and operational aspects of alternative investment funds in various jurisdictions (Spain, Luxembourg, or others) will be a plus.
Familiarity with standard investor questionnaires (ILPA, INREV, ALFI, etc.) and institutional due diligence.
Excellent writing and organizational skills; strong attention to detail.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and versatile attitude to coordinate multiple projects, with the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and demanding environment.
